LGD BLOG DESIGN

I am aware that you have seen the design of my blog. But for the sake of remembrance (because we all know it will eventually change) as well as for my portfolio I am posting it here. And while we're at it, let me tell you more about it and what inspired me to do the things I did.

I love the white against grey. I want the focus to be on the main content and I think the white background perfectly shows that off. The grey gives it all more of a variety and simplicity. While I normally go for a very simple look, I wanted to really enhance my sidebar and bring attention to my social media. The picture is a given. Everyone needs a picture to really let their readers put the writing with a face. Now why the right align? My answer is- I don't know. It just happened and I love it. I love that it brings a simple uniqueness to it all.

I don't think everything about my design had to be completely intentional. In fact, it shouldn't be completely intentional. I think that's what makes it all so perfect. It just happened and it all worked out so perfectly! Just like many things in life...
