JUDGING A BOOK BY IT'S COVER

Everyone always tells you to never judge a book by it's cover. It's been drilled into our brains over and over again yet the funny thing is, EVERYONE judges a book by it's cover. People won't go to your restaurant if your sign and building exterior are old and falling apart. People won't hang out on a website that looks like it hasn't been updated since the '80s. People won't eat anything out of a bag that looks like it's been passed around trashcans. You get the idea. It's a fact of life, everyone judges things by it's cover. Me in particular.

I think that's why I like being a designer. I care about the way things look when I buy them and want to help others to make their products look wonderful for the snobs like me who care way too much about the way things look. Anyways...

Here's some books I have either recently bought or they will be purchased soon. TOTALLY judging these books by their covers over here. But so far, the covers are an amazing reflection of the goodness inside! Bravo designers, illustrators, and stylists. Job well done.

  1. I know what you mean! I, too, also judge a book by its cover. I am very choosy when it comes to books. In fact, I also don't buy a book unless it's hardbound and covered in plastic.

These are nice-looking books, hope you can share a review so I know which ones are worth reading. :)
