LGD BLOG DESIGN #2

Well I've done it again. I have changed my blog design. While I still kept a number of elements from the last design, the entire look has changed. I found that the colors, fun fonts, and overall bright look of the design really limited the look of each individual post. I could only use certain colors and styles otherwise I would clash with the design.

This black and white look, however, is absolutely perfect for having a variety of looks within the posts. The simple fonts give me more freedom for fonts within posts, something I definitely need because I love trying out different types!

I love the black, white, and gold. Clean. Simple. Classy. But the heart accents keep it fun and playful.

My favorite aspect of this design is the fixed footer. I decided to put my social media on the footer so when new readers come and want to follow, it's easy to find. It's not in your face or distracting, but it's always there as a subtle reminder.

Overall, I'm in love with this new look. After I finished the design, I kept going back just to look at it and asked Josh again and again "Isn't it just pretty?" That doesn't happen all the time so I embrace it.
