WALLPAPER: START WHERE YOU ARE

One of my biggest struggles right now is feeling rather inferior in a world full of talented designers with amazing tools and extensive educations. I feel like I won't be as good as them because I haven't done as much and don't have what they have. I'm still a poor student who can't afford the latest gadgets, heck, I can't even afford to quit my job and be freelance full time. I have to carefully balance my schoolwork, my job, and my freelance work on top of regular old life and it's crazy overwhelming sometimes. I just feel like I won't be good enough in the timeframe that I want and I wonder if I should have even started this little freelance venture at all.

I saw this quote on Pinterest the other day and it really calmed me. It doesn't matter if I don't have the coolest tools. It doesn't matter that I'm still a student. It doesn't matter that I'm not as experienced as other designers. I've started. I'm using what I have. And I'm doing what I can. And that's what matters!

I've made this wallpaper to remind me every time I look at my phone or computer. But then I thought it would be great to print this out and put it on my bulletin board, so I've made an 8x10 printable to go with it. Now wherever I go, I will have this to remind me.

Feel free to grab yours!

This is so cute, so sad that the files aren't working anymore!
